A maximum of 4 "Under 18" tickets allowed per order. All under 18 attendees must be accompanied by an adult during all race days. Entry will be denied to attendees under the age of 18, if an adult with a valid ticket is not accompanying them.

Are under 18s allowed to attend?
We have U18 discounts available when booking hospitality packages.
All those under 18 years must be accompanied by a responsible adult (21+ years) to gain entry to the venue, limited to four under 18s per adult. Once in the venue, those aged 15 years and under must be accompanied by their responsible adult for the duration of their time at the Racecourse. 16 to 17-year-olds do not need to be accompanied around the venue but must still have their responsible adult on site.
If you are lucky enough to look under the age of 25 years please ensure you bring a valid form of ID. Towcester Racecourse operates a Challenge 25 policy on the sale of alcohol at all racing fixtures.
I have purchased my tickets, when will I receive them?
You should receive an email immediately with your payment receipt followed by a separate email with your tickets attached.
Will I need to print my tickets?
You do not need to print your tickets. The barcode on the ticket will be scanned at the entrance to the Racecourse so they simply need to be on your mobile device.
Alternatively, you can print off your tickets and have them scanned at the entrance.
You can distribute tickets to other members in your party through email or any other sharing method.
Cancellation Policy
Orders for tickets can be cancelled, exchanged or refunded within the first 48 hours after purchase only. Please submit your request to our Ticket Office by email Derby2025@greyhoundracinguk.com
Towcester Racecourse does not issue refunds after this initial 48-hour period unless the event is cancelled. Please note that selling or buying tickets on any other platform or via ticket touts is strictly prohibited and tickets that are re-sold illegally via any other third party may be refused admittance.

Do you accept cash on event?
We do accept cash at some of our outlets but are moving to a cashless venue so please ensure you bring other methods of contactless or card payments to purchase items including food and drink. Betting is still available using cash and all of our on course betting facilities and bookmakers will accept cash and/or card.
How do the various ticket options differ?
At Towcester Racecourse you can purchase a General Admission ticket that allows access to all public areas and amenities. Alternatively, you can purchase a hospitality option in our Empress Restaurant or a Hospitality Box where you will get an enhanced viewing and dining experience.
What should I wear?
The dress code for General Admission ticket holders is relaxed and there is no formal requirement for attire.
The Empress Restaurant and Hospitality Boxes require racegoers to dress in a smart and elegant way, bringing a sense of style suited to the occasion of the Greyhound Derby. Sportswear is not permitted.
What is there to do before racing?
Various entertainment will be available before racing, particularly at the Grand Final. You will be notified of both pre and post racing entertainment prior to the meeting you have booked.
What is there to do after racing?
Entertainment will be available after racing in the downstairs area of the main stand. Live acts will be on hand for you to enjoy after all the fun on the track.
Can I bring my own food and drink into the Racecourse?
Food and drinks are not allowed to be brought into the grounds. Only food and drinks purchased within the Racecourse are allowed to be consumed.
The exception to this is where someone has special dietary requirements where a small amount of food and drink will be allowed into the Racecourse with that person.
What licensing hours operate?
Bar facilities close at 11pm for all meetings except the Derby Final meeting when there will be extended bar opening hours.
Where can I bet?
The racecourse has extensive TOTE betting facilities around all areas of the grounds. Independent bookmakers are also located in front of the stand. Please note that you must be over 18 years of age to bet. Please note: gambleaware.org
What facilities are there for the disabled?
All areas of the grounds have wheelchair viewing available. Facilities include ramped access to the front of the main stand and covered viewing on the balcony of the Empress Restaurant. Lifts operate in the stand and toilet facilities for the disabled are available. Wheelchair spaces are subject to availability and are on a first come, first served basis.
Can I obtain cash?
If you need cash, a cashback facility is available from the bar areas in the main stand.
Can I bring my dog?
Dogs are not admitted. Guide dogs for the blind and assistance dogs for people with disabilities will be allowed, by advance request by emailing derby2025@greyhoundracinguk.com
Can I bring in a chair?
No, chairs are not allowed to be brought into the grounds.
Where is lost property?
At the reception area in the main stand.
Will there be a medical facilities?
Medical staff will be onsite during all meetings. The first-aid points are well signposted.
Are there concessionary rates for students?
There are discounts available through a variety of outlets including students. Please see the promotional information being distributed to Student Unions at all Universities.
Is there a discount for OAPs?
There are no specific discounts available for OAPs but discounts are available through a variety of outlets including sports clubs and partnering pubs and clubs in Northamptonshire.
Can I bring my children?
Yes. Accompanied youngsters under 18 years of age are admitted free for General Admission for all rounds up until the final. There is a small charge for the Grand Final meeting.
There are lower charges for hospitality packages for Under 18s throughout the Derby Festival.
What is your drinking policy?
Towcester Racecourse is committed to safeguarding the well-being of all visitors and ensuring that the best possible day out is had by all. As part of this, we are committed to reducing any social harm caused by the excessive consumption of alcohol. Anyone deemed to be under the influence of drink or drugs may be refused admittance to Towcester Racecourse.
Anyone lucky enough to appear to be under the age of 25 may be asked for photo ID when purchasing alcohol. Anyone who appears to have consumed too much alcohol may be asked to leave Towcester Racecourse, but will be cared for responsibly by the Raceday Team. Anyone with concerns over the safety or well-being of themselves or anyone else at the Racecourse should voice their concerns to the Racecourse reception or find a member of the Raceday team. Drink responsibly and have a great day out.
